Tablets
Tablets are the most common oral solid dosage form. Compared to capsules they are cheap and quick to produce and can accommodate relatively high doses of active.
In general there are three ways of preparing a compression mix, the powder that is actually compressed by the tablet machine, namely Direct Compression, Wet Granulation and Dry Granulation.
